Few things I wanna talk about today....

1. Naruto as a manga. Pleeeeeeease tell me that Kishi will restock on his character development because, well.............

Gah. Spoilers make me want to kill Sakura AND myself. [headdesk/] If it weren't for the marginal possibility of SasuNaruSasu I would quit RIGHT NOW.

NaruSasu, and generally Naruto the character.
People, you have to know that yes he IS MANLY. Yes he is amazingsauce. No, he DOES NOT DOMINATE EVERYTHING HE SEES. God. Damn. He's a great person, but enough with the insistence that he doesn't give up anything to anyone! He hates it when people tell him what to do, but on the same token it doesn't mean he won't give more of himself than the average person will. He'll do anything to make the people he loves happy - and if that means submitting once in a while, then I'm very very sure he'll do it. Balance is key in the relationships here.

Sasuke = emotionally stunted teenager with mental problems. = sees concessions of power/general emotional displays as weakness =/= UKE FOR ETERNITY. Simple math. He will concede some of the time, I know, if he really cares for the people he's with. But, emotionally stunted people like him don't easily give themselves over. It's scary, it's odd, it's just against the entire complex of his character as presented thus far in the manga.


Sasuke = emotionally stunted teenager with mental problems. =/= the most seme seme that ever seme'd on the face of the planet. This applies to EVERYONE. Not just Sasuke.

Naruto = a man =/= slender =/= whimpering =/= begging. I think this goes for both of them, actually. For the love of God, if you want thin and whimpery then write het. Jesus.

ON THE NOTE OF SEME NARUTO/SASUKE:
Sasuke is taller than Naruto. No IF'S ANDS OR BUTS. This is canon, this is the TRUTH. You can argue that NARUTO WILL GROW TALLER HE'S STILL GROWING but THUS FAR SASUKE IS ALMOST A HEAD TALLER THAN NARUTO if you look at the time they met up in Shippuuden. It's canon, for the moment and I feel like it's going to be canon for a long while. If you can't accept this...well, good for you. But I'm making the point that IF Naruto becomes taller than Sasuke during the manga canon, you can do whatever you like. If not, then what's there is there.

This doesn't mean that Naruto can't top from being short. Stereotypes do not apply here.

I'm going to make a point right now that I like to write Sasuke. He's interesting. I mean, come on, his complex must hold SOME inkling of interesting ideas (HINT: REVENGEHATEREVENGEHATE such interesting topics) that is wonderful to exploit. Mindfucks are so easy with the guy, it's hilarious. Nearly as much as Itachi, but that's another story for another time. I wish I had a rocking chair so I could lean back and smoke a fake pipe cuz I feel like a grandpa right now for some reason. (It's probably the storytelling)

But....

I'm feeling a general dislike of the fandom. Really, I am. I'm about ready to quit altogether it's frustrating me so badly. Meh. Hello hiatus, dear old friend, how have you been?
